Epoxy Resin Trays

Towards the end of 2020, I had the urge to want to make trays out of epoxy. Due to the high cost of legitimate tray molds, I started by finding a cake mold that would work. It had to have sturdy sides and be the right size.

Once I made two with the cake mold I was obsessed and decided to purchase tray molds in all shapes and sizes.

Below are all the trays I have made, started from the most recent all the way down to the very first one.

This mold came from Wish.com. Most people are hesitant about purchasing things from Wish but as long as you read the description and dimensions and don’t mind waiting about a month, they’re legit. To be honest I prefer to get them at a discount and wait for the delivery rather than seeing the same molds at stores for triple the price.

This project took longer than I thought it would but it was worth it in the end. It was a bit of a pain to fill in the indents with paint but the outcome was so worth it.
